How to: Display hidden background items on a slide again.
Solution:
Clear the 'Omit Background Graphics From Master' check box, in the 'Custom Background' dialog box.
1) Select the 'Format' menu and select 'Custom Background...'. (The Custom Background submenu appears.)
2) Clear (uncheck) the 'Omit Background Graphics From Master' check box.

3) Do one of the following:
a) Click 'Apply to All', to apply the changes to all the slides in the presentation.
b) Click 'Apply', to apply the changes to only the current slide.
c) Click 'Cancel', to cancel the changes.
